Our Mission

Reporting to the Office of the President, IAP provides information and analytical services to the University of Waterloo. We are responsible for:

• analyzing past and current University activity levels (students, faculty, staff, finances, space and other resources)
• evaluating the effectiveness of these resources
• projecting future resource requirements

In addition to acting as the analytical team for the Office of the President, we are a resource for University executive committees, academic and administrative departments, the Federated and Affiliated Colleges and act as the University's liaison to a number of external organizations and government agencies.
